Choose from Macfarlane Packaging’s extensive range of bubble wrap packaging to protect your products

Shipping online orders that contain fragile items such as glassware and ceramics can be stressful. However, with effective protective packaging solutions, retailers can ensure their fragile goods arrive to the recipient in the intended condition. Make shipping delicate items a hassle-free process and reduce damaged goods and returns by choosing bubble wrap products from Macfarlane Packaging.

At Macfarlane Packaging we can provide:

  • Bubble wrap rolls
  • Anti-static bubble wrap rolls
  • Bubble bags
  • Anti-static bubble bags

Our bubble wrap rolls and bubble bags can protect a wide range of products including jewellery, glassware, ceramics, homewares and so much more.

Macfarlane Packaging offer two kinds of bubble wrap rolls to choose from: standard duty bubble wrap and anti-static bubble wrap.

Our bubble wrap can be used in multiple ways to provide your goods with the ultimate level of protection. Pad out loose spaces inside a box, cushion into corners or wrap around the outside of an object for effective protection.

Just like our bubble wrap rolls, our bubble wrap bags are also available in standard and anti-static versions. You can choose from a range of size to fit your products.

Should I choose bubble wrap on a roll or a bubble bag?

If you’re packing a range of fragile or breakable items, our bubble wrap rolls are a great choice. They come in small and large bubble sizes, as well as different with and length rolls. You can cut to size the amount you need, giving you the flexibility to package a variety of products.

For smaller items like components, small parts or delicate items like jewellery, our bubble bags are a good option. All our bubble bags have a handy peel and stick closure. If you’re shipping electrical components that need to be protected from electrostatic charges, our anti-static bubble bags are ideal.

Why choose our bubble wrap rolls?

Our bubble wrap is sourced from Sealed Air. Each roll of bubble wrap features sealed AirCap® retention barriers, offering long term cushioning performance.

The bubble wrap rolls sold by Macfarlane Packaging are unperforated. This feature means our bubble provides better coverage and reinforced strength. To make packing easy, all our Sealed Air AirCap® bubble wrap has been designed to consistently tear with a tidy edge. This will help you to reduce the amount of wastage in the warehouse, as well as ensure packages arrive looking neat and presentable.

All our standard bubble wrap contains at least 50% recycled content as standard – helping reduce waste going to landfill without compromising on performance:

  • Made with a minimum of 50% recycled content AirCap® HRC bubble contributes to efficient use of natural resources and contributes to reduce the waste going into landfill.
  • AirCap® HRC bubble is made with thinner co-extruded film. This offers a superior and longer lasting protection using less plastic material.
  • 40% more AirCap® HRC bubble can be transported on the same truck vs standard bubble: that means less trucks on the road and less emission. In addition, our AirCap® HRC bubble contains a minimum of 50% recycled content, contributing towards an average of 25% less CO2 than other types of bubble wrap.

Which bubble wrap offers the best protection?

Did you know that different bubble sizes offer varying grades of protection? The bigger the bubble on your roll, the higher the protection it provides.

If you want to add a little bit of extra padding and protection to your ecommerce box, bubble wrap with small bubbles should be your go to!

For businesses shipping something extra delicate or larger items that require double layers of bubble wrap, our bubble wrap with large bubbles is an economical choice.

At Mafarlane Packaging we offer a range of bubble wrap roll lengths, helping you to stretch the costs of protective packaging whilst having enough bubble wrap to keep up with demand.

Can bubble wrap be recycled?

Yes, bubble wrap can be recycled. However, it may not be recycled at kerbside. Often, bubble wrap can be recycled industrially.

It is always worth checking with your local authority which packaging materials you can recycle before putting anything in local waste streams.
